Sailing the Ionian Islands, Greece - Spartohori, Kioni and Vounaki

Folks internet still patchy so as when get chance put photos on add captions later and text to follow from copious notes made so far. Having fantastic time. Now back on dry land following 2 weeks sailing. For second week we chartered a yacht and set off alone this time cant believe they let us loose in a brand new 33I Jeanneau. We had agreat time Sharon was unsure at the beginning & some serious encouragement was required but she relaxed in to it and we had an incredible trip. Un fortunately gale force winds on the last night and an interesting!!! last leg across a serious swell which tested the boats stability and resilience and our low levels of expertise caused Sharon to have second thoughts. She decided to only look behind so she couldnt see the size of the waves coming our way!! But as we crashed down off numerous high crests she couldnt ignore reality If looks could kill!! I showed her our photos later of the good bits and she will come on  a yacht with me agian I hope !!.  Just parked up for night on lakeside Ioanina Greece with freshly snow dusted  Pindos mtns beyond. In morning head NE into Zagoria region stopping by at Magro papingo and the WWF project centre we visited in 2004. After this onto an area of outstanding natural beauty and National Park the Prespa Lakes one of which is 1000 sq kms and boasts pelicans etc ( albeit may have flown sotuh by now! ) Thereafter into Macedonia and then on to Albania etc.
Love to All from Dave and Sharonx

Dave walks off Seanut for the last time. We will remember this our first ever week of  yachting without the tutillage of Nigel Janet or Ted!
