Hvar Island, Croatia 30-31.10.11

Best wishes from Jelso, Hvar island croatia. Whilst wandering along a Coastal pine forest on hvar island last night we stumbled across a secluded cove where we met a fisherman called Franjo. He spoke Germany so got chatting and next thing we knew we were sampling hid homemade local berry aperitif. Followed by a meal totally grown or caught by him & the missus. As we watched the sunset and later the moon rise into a deep blue sky shimmering over the water . Finally under the moon & stars he took us back along the coast by boat. Passing another local hunting with a harpoon like device for octopus. There endeth another tough day.photos to follow lots to catch up have been to 3 other counties since last post but Internet patchy.
